The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), through its Operative Plan FEDER Madrid, has granted OFITECO the requested assistance for the development of the TUNNELDATA project.
CDTI is a Public Business Entity answering to the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, which fosters the technological development and innovation of Spanish companies. Within FEDER's Madrid 2014 Operative Plan framework, OFITECO submitted a proposal for assistance to co-finance the project “Integral Management System for monitoring data in underground works in urban environments”.
The TUNNELDATA project, covering 2014-2015, aims to develop an innovative system for integrated monitoring data management (acquisition, storage, control and visualisation) from underground works and their urban environments, through a web platform capable of processing any type of data obtained from dataloggers and real time sensors; with an agile GIS navigation; customised reports; alarm management through mobile devices; direct visualisation of construction planning and advance; data collection through augmented reality. The system is expressly designed for large subway works.
This way, OFITECO achieves one of its 2014 challenges, the advancement of R & D & I projects co-financed by the CDTI, allowing an advance in knowledge and improving its services and business areas, which translates to greater competitiveness of the company.
