OFITECO will provide technical assistance in the supervision and monitoring of the complementary works in High-Speed Mediterranean Corridor platform on the Pulpí–Almería section. These activities will support the ADIF High-Speed Site Management Team, ensuring that the works are executed in compliance with the established requirements.
The works under supervision extend across different sections of the line and include slope protection and stabilization measures, drainage cleaning and improvement works, railway platform repairs, tunnel interventions, replacement of fencing and safety elements, as well as environmental integration and wildlife protection measures. Interventions on viaducts, service roads and other infrastructure associated with the railway corridor are also included.
The technical assistance services will cover all phases of the project. OFITECO will review the construction project, verify the setting-out works and assess aspects related to quality, safety, interoperability and risk management. In addition, the company will prepare the supervision and control plans required to ensure that construction activities comply with the project specifications.
During execution, OFITECO will provide technical, economic and documentary monitoring of the works. This will include geometric controls, supervision of material quality and completed work units, verification of measurements and certifications. Compliance will be monitored with quality, environmental and health and safety plans. Furthermore, OFITECO will coordinate information management through ADIF’s Common Data Environment (CDE).
The contract includes monitoring of affected utilities, supervision of potential project modifications and the compilation of documentation required for the future commissioning of the works. In addition, periodic reports, photographic records and digital models will be produced, providing a comprehensive record of project progress.
Once the works have been completed, OFITECO will participate in the preparation of the final project documentation, including the As-Built documentation, inventories of constructed assets, final measurements and all documentation necessary for the operation and maintenance of the infrastructure. This process will ensure full information traceability and support the future management of the railway line.
The activities will be carried out by specialists in railway infrastructure, surveying, quality management, environmental management, interoperability and risk management, supported by advanced technical resources for project monitoring and supervision.
Through this project, OFITECO strengthens its experience in the supervision and control of major railway infrastructure projects, contributing to enhance one of the most strategic links within Spain’s high-speed rail network.
