The Jucar River Basin Authority will promote an initiative aimed at strengthening the review and supervision processes associated with its hydraulic infrastructure documentation. Within this framework, OFITECO will participate in the technical assessment of projects and documentation, helping to ensure their quality, feasibility and compliance with current regulations.
The review will cover construction projects, preliminary designs, project modifications, final certifications, settlements and other technical documents related to hydraulic works. The scope includes the detailed assessment of reports, annexes, drawings, specifications and budgets, verifying both the consistency of the information and the adequacy of the solutions proposed.
Special attention will be given to hydraulic and structural calculations, geotechnical studies, construction planning, waste-management procedures, environmental documentation and health and safety requirements. Measurements, bills of quantities and budgets will also be reviewed to confirm their technical and financial consistency before approval.
The review process will be organised in two distinct stages. The first stage will focus on identifying potential deficiencies, inconsistencies or omissions, which will be documented through technical reports containing recommendations and proposed corrective actions. The second stage will verify that the proposed corrections have been properly incorporated before final compliance reports are issued.
In parallel, arithmetic verification reports, settlement reviews and assessments of final certifications will be carried out. These activities will help improve the reliability of the documentation managed by the Authority and strengthen the quality-control procedures applied to each project.
The technical assistance team will include specialists in civil engineering, hydraulics, structures, geotechnics, environmental management and technical installations. This multidisciplinary approach will ensure that every file is assessed from a comprehensive technical perspective and adapted to the specific requirements of each project.
The execution of these works will contribute to improving the quality of the documentation required for the planning and delivery of future hydraulic infrastructure projects, while also supporting the management of existing assets. Through its involvement in this initiative, OFITECO further strengthens its experience in technical supervision and consultancy services for public authorities responsible for water resources and hydraulic infrastructure management.
