The General Directorate of Roads has put into service the Torreperogil - Villacarrillo section of the A-32 Linares-Albacete Dual Carriageway, in which OFITECO has carried out the control and surveillance works.

On 23 September, the 13.6-kilometre Torreperogil - Villacarrillo section, which connects the Úbeda-Torreperogil section with the Villacarrillo - Villanueva del Arzobispo section, was opened to traffic.

In September 2018, the General Directorate of Roads and OFITECO formalised the contract for the control and supervision of the works. During this time, OFITECO has ensured compliance with the conditions of the contract and guaranteed the correct execution of the works, including the resolution of technical issues and incidents. 

A total of 11 structures have been built along the section: 6 overpasses, 4 subways and 1 viaduct.

After four years of work, this section has now been brought into service and the opening ceremony was presided over by the Minister for Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda (MITMA), Raquel Sánchez.

The opening of this section will mean a saving in travel times and a reduction in pollution levels, as well as an improvement in safety and mobility in the area.

With the execution of this contract, OFITECO reaffirms its position as a benchmark company in the sector, extending its extensive experience in the control and surveillance of motorway works.
